A recent report however claimed that Radhe won’t be made after the project fell apart last week due to some unknown reason. But a source close to the project confirms that Radhe is very much on track and that Salman and his team is already working on this flick. The source says, “Radhe is Salman Khan’s Eid 2020 release and it has not been shelved or stalled for any reason whatsoever. The film is in the writing stages and a little bit of pre-production is also underway.” That Radhe is a remake of a Korean film is known but contrary to reports, it is not a remake of Veteran. The source reveals, “Radhe is a remake of a Korean film called The Outlaws. Salman Khan will play a cop in this film. Currently, the writers are trying their best to Indianize the story well and also to lessen the violent and sexual content, which is there in abundance in the original script. It’s taking a lot of time but the team is working day and night to get the script ready. Even Salim Khan saab is giving inputs. Prabhudheva is busy with Dabangg 3’s last schedule and post-production but he’ll soon get thoroughly involved with Radhe so that it can make it to cinemas in the month of May.” This update will surely be heartening for Salman Khan fans who have been left worried when reports emerged that Radhe is not happening and that Salman Khan is looking for another script. The source explains, “There’s no time now to look for a new script and begin work on it. We have to be ready with a film by May 22, 2020 come what may. And that film is Radhe.” When asked why Salman Khan denied that the name of his next film is Radhe, the source quips, “You know him – woh dil mein aate hai, samajh mein nahi! Maybe, they are planning to spell the film differently but from what we understand, Radhe is the next Salman Khan movie after Dabangg 3,” the source signs off. The Outlaws released in 2017 and stars Ma Dong-seok, Yoon Kye-sang and Jo Jae-yoon. Directed by Kang Yoon-sung, this crime action drama is based on a real incident and tells the story of Seoul detective who attempts to keep pace while tackling two warring gangs in the neighbourhood. Deepika Padukone shared a few remarks from her teachers from the school report cards and they are the most relatable thing you will see today. The first remark says that “Deepika is very talkative in class.” The second one says, “Deepika must learn to follow instructions”, while the third one reads, “Deepika tends to daydream”. While these pictures are hilarious and apt, Ranveer Singh’s comments have as usual managed to win our hearts. Take a look at the pictures and Ranveer’s comments.

The fresh pairing of John and Divya, who returns to acting after directing two movies of her own, is another highlight of the project. “I didn’t want to act in a film just for the sake of it,” says the latter. “For me, what mattered was the story and the role, and I got the right opportunity with this film,” she adds. Bhuj: The Pride Of India boasts of some fantastic action sequences by National Award-winning action choreographer and stunt coordinator Peter Hein, along with action and stunt designing teams from Bulgaria and Vietnam, who are choreographing the high-paced thrilling action and war sequences in the film. The filming began with an introductory scene of Devgn, in Bhuj last week and culminated with an action-packed finale with at Kathda village in Mandvi. There have been rumours since then that Ajay is ghost-directing the film due to certain creative differences and movie going over budget but that is not true. Says a trade source, “The producers and Ajay himself, wish to make this film on an ambitious, real yet grand scale so some of the best technicians have been employed for Bhuj: The Pride of India so budget will be high anyways. The makers are sparing no expenses to make sure that the film is a visual treat for the audiences. It was a historic event which needed to be showcased for all to see and Ajay is while-heartedly involved in the making of the film. Apart from an actor, he is well-versed in stunts, action and VFX and known to express his mind if he feels something is wrong. Buzz is that during the shoot in Kathda village (Gujarat), that certain differences arose between Ajay and the director. Expensive sets of Bhuj airport and replicas of IAF fighter planes had been constructed for action-packed climax sequences to shoot portions of the climax and certain issues arose between the director and Ajay. Minor creative differences can always arise between stars and directors but they get resolved almost immediately.” Elaborating on the scene which raised a few tempers (and voices), the source add, “It was during one such major action sequence when apparently, Ajay felt that it could be shot according to what action choreographer and stunt coordinator Peter Hein had visualised it. It had been happening a few times and Ajay had tried explaining to Abhishek. The director, being new, was taking time to shoot high-octane action scenes and though Peter Hein had everything planned Abhishek wanted it in another way. Apparently, the hours of shooting were fewer because Abhishek was taking his time to figure out some scenes and the budget was going high. Ajay is a very clear and level-headed actor and also a producer. He knows how being over budget can affect the box-office success of a film so he explained everything calmly to Abhishek. It almost escalated into an argument but everybody, including Abhishek saw reason and calmed down. The disagreements were sorted and after the Kutch shoot, as scheduled the next one resumed in Mumbai from September.” Bhuj: The Pride Of India is about Indian Air Force (IAF) base commander, Squadron Leader Vijay Kumar Karnik (Devgn), who along with two other officers, 50 IAF and 60 Defence Security Corps personnel kept the Bhuj airbase operational and airstrip ready, during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war, to receive a squadron of fighter planes from Punjab. He was helped by 300 villagers, mostly women, who took up the task of repairing the airstrip. Sonakshi plays Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a social worker, from Madhapur, who convinced the local women to help rebuild the only runway in Bhuj that was bombed by the Pakistani army. Sanjay Dutt plays civilian, Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari, who helped the Indian Army win the war, Rana Daggubati plays Madras regiment Lt Colonel who was posted in Vighakot chowki and fought the Indo-Pak 1971 war, Parineeti Chopra plays Heena Rehman, an Indian spy staying in Lahore in the movie and Ammy Virk, a fighter pilot in the IAF, who played a very crucial role in this historic win. The movie will release on Independence Day next year. Also Read:

Bollywood Hungama was the first to tell you that the Salman Khan was reuniting with his Bharat producers, Atul Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit for a hard-core masala entertainer – the exception being that it would also be produced by Salman Khan Productions. There were also reports that the movie was titled Radhe but while admitting that his Eid 2020 release would be directed by his Dabangg 3 director, Prabhu Dheva, he had denied that the movie was called Radhe. Says a trade source, “Recently, when asked about a movie called Radhe, releasing on Eid, Salman had denied it, adding that Prabhu Dheva would direct it. But buzz is that Radhe was almost happening but for various reasons didn’t. After Inshallah got postponed indefinitely, Salman was searching for a script. He got two – one a Korean remake and the other a masala entertainer. One thing was certain – whichever was finalised, the film would be directed by Prabhu Dheva. Salman is extremely impressed with the director’s work in Dabangg 3, his massy connect and the fact that everything is on schedule. The massy entertainer was finalised and titled Radhe because in both his movies (Tere Naam and Wanted) where he is called Radhe, they have turned out to be blockbusters.” The source adds that even the poster for Radhe had been designed and kept ready. “Atul Agnihotri, Nikhil Namit and Salman were ready with the announcement but something happened last week and the project fall apart. While the buzz is that they discovered just before the announcement that the story was similar to another movie and the title is with someone else – only a few (including Salman) know what the truth is. The story was based in the heartlands of North India and the final draft (with Salman’s inputs) was complete with rumours of the star playing a double role. Salman had planned to announce the movie, after he began shooting for it.” Now the hunt for a fresh script is on again. The source adds, “Salman won’t leave Eid 2020. His fans expect it and it’s a box-office bonanza for everybody around. No other star except Salman enjoys that kind of BO success on Eid so it’s natural that his release comes on that day. This project is very important to Salman and he is taking keen interest himself in every department. There is another script that they are looking at. The movie will definitely be a musical entertainer with great action and a love story for both the multiplex audience and single-screens like the Dabangg franchise.” Also Read:

Talking about his Navratri memories, Rajkummar says, “I grew up in Gurugram, and over there, Navratri was about pooja-path and fasting and watching Ram Leela being performed by local actors. I used to observe the fast with my mother on all the nine days. I do that even now, though I can’t continue for all the nine days. At that time, I saw garba only in films. During my years in the Film and Television Institute, we used to celebrate all the festivals. I had a Bengali friend with whom I would visit Durga Puja pandals. Now, Patralekhaa and I visit pandals together and offer prayers. We’re regulars at a pandal in Andheri and we’ve also been to Dadar Shivaji Park. I’ve also been to many garba-dandiya pandals, where I’ve always felt high energy among people. The same festival is celebrated differently across India and everything co-exists. That’s the beauty of a country like ours.” Admitting that he loves dancing, Rajkummar shares, “I enjoy dancing and garba is among my favorite dance forms. It’s so synchronized and beautiful to look at. In fact, I love dancing so much that I have danced in random baaraats with people I don’t know. Uske baad kai baar jaake shaadiyon mein khaana bhi khaya hai. During my years in Gurugram, I was part of a dance group and have performed Bhangra, Odissi, Haryanvi and Rajasthani folk dance forms. It’s something that makes me very happy.” Delving into her memories around Navratri or Pujo festivities, Mouni says, “Navratri is celebrated across the country in different ways. Call her Maa Durga or Ambe, she is the Mother we worship. As children, Durga Puja was very special — pandals, onjoli, dancing, enjoying some amazing food, hanging out with friends and wearing new clothes. When I was studying in Delhi, I would go back home (Kolkata) to be with my parents during the festival. When I came to Mumbai, I was introduced to Navratri celebrations and garba outings. I see the same enthusiasm here, too — dandiya raas, garba, colourful clothes, young and happy faces, and some fabulous music.” She adds, “When my father was alive, I would leave Mumbai and head back home for Pujo, but now, my mother comes over and stays with me. I try and make time for onjolion Maha-Ashtami and the other days, too.” Given that her next film - Made In China is entrenched in the flavour of Gujarat, you can't help but wonder if the dancing queen was adept with garba or not. It’s known that both Mouni and Rajkummar have the knack to pick up dance moves easily. Ask if they had a chance to do some garba raas in Made In China, and Mouni replies, “I don't know how to do garba all that well. I can manage the steps, but every dance form has its own flair and bounce. I had to work hard to get that right. In the film, we don’t have an outright garba song, but it’s a wonderful dance number.” Set to release this Diwali, Made In China is produced by Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios. The film directed by Mikhil Musale and also stars Boman Irani, Sumeet Vyas, Gajraj Rao and Paresh Rawal.

The latter, in return, gives Eva a kiss on her cheek and says, “I love you.” Eva gets Aishwarya blushing as she asks, "Why do you get more beautiful? What is happening?”. “Look who’s talking," answers the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor. Such an adorable banter!

 2. Ranbir is very proud of sharing his birthday with two legends Chandrashekar Azad and Lata Mangeshkar. “I am in august company, so no one can claim to not remember my birthday,” he told me once upon a time. 3. If you want to gift Ranbir with something he likes, try shoes, or watches. He is a shoe fanatic and buys the most exclusive footwear money can get. The big guns in Bollywood with a shoe fetish are Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Ranbir. 4. Ranbir’s definition of a best friend is very confusing. At one point he was very close to filmmaker Siddharth Anand. Then there was also the Roy director Vikramjit Singh who was mentioned to me as “my closest friend”. Finally there is Ayan Mukerjee whom we see as permanent fixture on Ranbir’s left as the girlfriends keep changing on the right .The truth is, Ranbir has no friends. He is a chronic certifiable loner. 5. No bio-pics for Ranbir Kapoor. He agreed to do Sanju because of his admiration for Sanjay Dutt. That apart Ranbir has said no to every bio-pic he has been offered. And believe me, he has been offered dozens. 6. For reasons best known to him Ranbir Kapoor won’t ever work with his Christopher Columbus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. After his launch in Saawariya he vowed to stay away. Ranbir can be quite stubborn when he wants to be. 7. Ranbir wants to feature in a bio-pic on his grandfather Raj Kapoor. He also told me once that if he were a woman he would love to be in a bio-pic on Lata Mangeshkar.

No, Didi. Correction. It’s the day you were born. The day the most gifted singer that civilization has ever been gifted, was born… Aap aisa sochte hain yeh aapka badappan hai (if you think that way it’s your greatness). I’ve never thought of myself as special. Not even when the world’s greatest artistes’ statesmen and connoisseurs of music have declared you the greatest ever? No, never. I never thought of myself as special even when those who have heard and appreciated my singing said I was. For me, the constant effort in life has been to better myself as a person and an artiste. Javed Akhtar says your singing epitomize perfection. How can you improve on perfection? Oh, there are so many of my songs that are considered flawless but are actually flawed. I can hear those flaws that you can’t. And believe me; I cringe every time I hear those flaws in my singing. Can you tell point out some of your ‘flawed’ songs for me? No, why should I? Don’t you prefer to keep believing that they are flawless songs?  I suppose so. You said you have constantly striven to improve yourself as a human being .Where did you see yourself in the need of improvement? My biggest personality flaw was my fierce temper. Even as a child I had a major temper issue. I would get angry very quickly. This changed as I grew older. Then there came time when my temper vanished. Now I don’t get angry at all. I sometimes wonder what happened to my fierce temper. In spite of your incomparable talent and success I’ve always seen you as being humble. How did you manage to remain unaffected by your phenomenal success? I don’t know…I have always been like that. I was taught by my parents to forgive and forget when wronged by anyone. I’ve tried to follow that. Didi, I know of so many who have taken advantage of your generous forgiving nature? God bless them all. I’ve never been vain or arrogant about my abilities. Because I feel if I can sing well it is a gift that I’ve got from God and my parents. I always treated my singing as a special privilege. I nurtured it as a privilege.  What advice would you give to upcoming aspiring singers? Riyaaz (practice). Every singer who is serious about singing must do riyaaz. To this day I try to do my riyaaz as frequently as possible. Despite your partiality towards popular singing you are extraordinarily adept at singing classical songs in films such as ‘Man Mohana Bade Jhoothe’ (Seema) and ‘Mose Chal Kiye Jaa’ (Guide) The filmy classical song is not pure classical. Given a chance I'd have loved to sit with a tanpura on a stage to perform uninterrupted for two hours. But where was the time? I was recording songs round the clock Any unfulfilled dreams? I loved photography and painting. I wish I had time to pursue these interests. What is your message to your millions of bhakts across the world? Do your dharm and respect your karm. Success will follow. Nothing comes without hard work.
