Arjun Kapoor says ‘why not’ when asked by a fan to host a show with Ranveer Singh
The Coronavirus lockdown has left a lot of people with uncertainty as to when things will be back to normal. The actors are trying their best to keep their fans and followers cheered through these difficult times. To spread a little more positivity, Arjun Kapoor asked his fans to send across positive messages to him on Instagram ask and the best ones would receive a reply.
Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s friendship is quite a special one since they both starrer in Gunday. Their term of endearment, ‘Baba’, has caught on to a lot of their fans and clearly, they have been missing this dynamic duo a lot! Even though these two are spotted at social events interacting and their banter on social media is adorable, a fan eagerly asked him to host a show with Ranveer Singh. Made in Heaven actor Sobhita Dhulipala who turns 28 today says she has never been a fan of elaborate birthday celebrations. ”This birthday will be an intimate affair. I’m going to cook a dish which my mum used to cook when I was a child. I’ll also read some poetry and listen to jazz music,” she adds.
Talking about the current situation, she says, “In this situation of Lockdown it has made us realise how fortunate we are — we just have to stay at home to protect ourselves, more so when we look at the situation of migrants in the country”
“It is just so hard to ignore the truth on the streets. It’s very convenient to forget how privileged we all are, because obviously we always tend to look at what we don’t have, and we aspire towards it, feeling ‘shit we are stuck at this point in our lives, itna karna hai, I have to earn this’. You forget the people who have so little!”
Expressing her helplessness on the plight of migrant workers, she says, “I think this whole migrant crisis is heartbreaking. I read about the lady who dies on the train, and the child walked around her body trying to wake her up. It was heart-wrenching.”

BTS' 'DNA' music video hits 1 billion mark making them first Korean boy group to achieve this milestone
BTS FESTA has come with great news! Starting June, which is the month when they debuted seven years ago, on the right note, the South Korean group has achieved a huge milestone.
Their music video for 'DNA' from their 2018 'Love Yourself: Answer' album has hit the 1 billion mark on YouTube. This makes them the first Korean boy group to achieve this milestone. The music video originally released on September 17, 2018, which was the title track of their album.
Meanwhile, BTS has kick-started the countdown to their debut anniversary - June 13, 2020. The FESTA began with 'Airplane Pt. 2' summer version as their opening ceremony. It was filmed during their summer package shoot in Saipan, two years ago. On June 14, they will host virtual concert Bang Bang Con - The Live for their fans.
BTS is also working on their next album after the record-breaking release of 'Map Of The Soul: 7' in February, this year. Their Japanese album 'Map Of The Soul: 7 - The Journey' is set for July 2020 release.

Wajid Khan passes away, Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar mourn the loss of the music composer
The deadly coronavirus has spread like wildfire around the world. India has been in lockdown since March end in order to contain the spread of the virus. In the latest news, Wajid Khan of the music composer duo Sajid-Wajid has passed away due to COVID-19 at the age of 42. Sonu Nigam confirmed the news post-midnight on June 1 by sharing a photo with the music composer on his Instagram.
As per sources, the music composer had already pre-existing kidney condition before he tested positive for COVID-19. He was admitted to the hospital and was reportedly on a ventilator.
Tributes have been pouring in for Wajid Khan who worked with several artists and actors in the past. Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra are amongst the few who are grieving the untimely passing of the music composer.

BTS FESTA 2020 has officially commenced. The septet, every year, celebrates their debut anniversary with their fans with "FESTA" which is a festival way of celebrating with unreleased content, music, song covers, dance videos, photos among others. Starting from June 1, BTS has begun the two-week-long Festa with the summer version of their song 'Airplane Pt. 2'.
The song was recorded by the South Korean group for their 2018 album, 'Love Yourself: Tear'. The version was filmed during their Saipan trip when they filmed their summer package. Dancing by the pool, the members - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - let loose as they enjoy the perfect weather while dancing along with each other. Their hair colours from that era were so bright and vibrant. We love them seeing vibing and chilling!
On May 28, the timeline was released and every content that will be shared leading up to the debut anniversary date, that is June 13, 2020.

In the latest news, Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibasish Sarkar has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently being treated at a hospital.
As per reports, the producer was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital after he developed fever on Saturday, May 30. His fever has now gone down and is currently recovering from coronavirus.

GOT7's Yugyeom participates in The King Of Masked Singer
South Korean group GOT7 may have been done the promotions of their last album 'Dye', they are currently busy with their solo work, respectively. The group's singer Yugyeom participated in the popular variety show, The King Of Masked Singer where he performed a duet and solo song.
The audience and the panel were left surprised to find that the man behind the raspberry outfit was GOT7 singer Yugyeom. For the duet, they chose to croon 'I Will Love You' song. For the solo stage, he chose to sing JYP Entertainment's CEO Park Jinyoung's song 'I Have a Girlfriend'. Since it was the first time he crooned the track, he said, "It's totally my first time to do it on air. It is amazing that I got to appear on King of Mask Singer. I'm glad I got a chance to perform here."
Speaking of why he chose the song, he said that growing up he saw, "Park Jinyoung on Television while performing it. At that time, I did not know what the term 'sexy' meant, but since then, it was my dream to become a singer and dancer. I respect the fact that he is still making music for a long time now."

Mohit Suri shares the first draft of Malang 2 amid lockdown
Director Mohit Suri is keeping himself busy during the lockdown. The filmmaker, who last helmed Malang that released in February this year, is ready with the first draft of the sequel, Malang 2.
Sharing a photo on Instagram, Mohit Suri shared a quote of Alfred Hitchcock and wrote, “To make a great film you need 3 things : The script , the script and the script.”
The announcement of the sequel was made earlier this month. “We are thankful to the audience who has shown such a phenomenal response to our film Malang after the theatres, now on OTT. While people are enjoying Malang on Netflix- Yes, we are coming up with Malang 2. Mohit and Luv are working on the sequel and more details will follow soon,” Ankur Garg, producer of the film, had said in a statement.
It is as of now unclear whether the original cast will return for the sequel. Mohit Suri and Luv Ranjan are currently working on the sequel and more details will follow soon.
Mohit Suri directorial film Malang is produced by T-Series and Luv Films. It released on February 7, 2020.

Actor Sonu Sood met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Saturday at Raj Bhavan. The actor has been working to help the migrant labourers reach their homes amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown. He arranged buses for them to reach their hometowns.
As everyone has been applauding his work, his work was praised by Governor too. The office of the Maharashtra Governor shared a photo from the meeting with a caption that read, "Film star Sonu Sood met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan. He briefed Governor about his work to help migrant people to reach their home states and to provide them food. The Governor applauded Sonu Sood for his work and assured him fullest support in his endeavours."

Apparently, almost 12,000 workers have been sent to their hometowns due to Sonu Sood's efforts.

Actor Taapsee Pannu, who is self-isolating in Mumbai, is mourning the loss of her grandmother. Without sharing much details, the actress shared a photo from the Gurudwara rituals as her grandmother's photo was placed along with the garlands.

Ever since Zaira Wasim left the film industry ahead of The Sky Is Pink release, the former actress has been mired in several controversies. It was just a few days ago when she made some comments about locusts in India which were termed controversial by many.

Soon, she deactivated her social media accounts Twitter and Instagram after receiving a lot of backlash. Now, she is back on Twitter and expressing herself. "Because I’m just a human, like everyone else, who’s allowed to take a break from everything whenever the noise inside my head or around me reaches it’s peak :)," wrote Zaira after someone asked why she deactivated her account.

Multiplexes and single screen owners are hoping that the government will reopen the theatres by June 30 with new safety measures
It’s been over two months that the country is facing an indefinite lockdown due to Coronavirus. The entertainment industry has taken a massive hit because of the same. For the first time, the shoots and releases have been put on hold and the Multiplex Association of India along with the single screen owners are now getting restless. With some of the major releases being put on hold this year, they have suggested new safety measures and guidelines and are hoping that the theatres will reopen somewhere in between June 15 to June 30.
According to the new safety measures manual, the theatres might allow 50 percent occupancy. The food and beverages will be ordered through an app to avoid human contact along with online bookings of the tickets being encouraged. The staff will be geared with gloves and masks and the screens will be thoroughly cleaned. The Association is waiting for the government’s nod to the new guidelines.
Even though big-budget films like Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Salman Khan’s Radhe are going to be among the first ones to release, the association feels that these films will pull the crowd back to the theatres.
