Star Vs Food: Here's what Arjun Kapoor is keen on cooking for his ladylove Malaika Arora

After gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan and dynamic Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor left us mesmerized with his cooking skills on Star vs Food that is currently streaming on Discovery+. Under the supervision of Head Chef at The Butler & The Bayleaf, Gulaam Gouse Deewani, Arjun Kapoor cooked up lip-smacking Laal Maas and Chapli Kebab for his uncle and aunt, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor.

Post his first-ever cooking experience, the quick-witted actor was made to play an interesting round of rapid-fire. If given a chance to conduct experiments in the kitchen, here is what the actor would cook for his Bollywood buddies.  For vivacious and his ladylove Malaika Arora, he said, “She has a sweet tooth so if I could actually, I would make a healthy dessert for her”.

On hearing ‘Anushka Sharma’, Arjun instantly knew what he would make for her. Sharing a funny anecdote, he said, “Anushka ke sath ek time usko bhook lagi thi, usne ceralac ka dabba mangake ceralac banake khaya tha aur abh toh usse uski zarurat hai because baccha hogaya so uske liye toh definitely ceralac banake dunga mein (For Anushka, once she was so hungry, she asked for a ceralac bottle and then prepped and ate it. Now, that she has a kid, I will definitely get her a ceralac bottle.”

Arjun Kapoor, on being asked what he would like to prepare for Varun, exclaimed with absolute assurance, “Chicken! Any chicken, he only likes chicken, he lives for chicken. At one point in acting class, he said he loved chicken more than his family!”.

On being asked about Bollywood’s most energetic and lively actor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun said, “Anything that makes him mellow for a bit. Anything that calms him down. So, what would calm him down? Sugar would give him a high, he is born with caffeine in his system. What do I give this guy? Actually, I would starve him, so he has little less energy. That’s what I would do but no, with all my love, I would make for him Sindhi curry and rice because he is a Sindhi so I am sure he would enjoy it”.

Television actress Rubina Dilaik has tested positive for the COVID-19. She took to Instagram to share the news that she has quarantined herself at home and urged people to get tested who came in contact with her in the past few days.

Rubina Dilaik, in her note, said, "I always look out for silver lining!! I will be now eligible for donating plasma after a month. Tested Positive! Home quarantined for 17days! Whosoever has come in contact with me past 5/7days plz get yourself tested!"

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who will next be seen in Text For You, Matrix 4, and Citadel, has been gathering as many resources as possible to help out India with COVID-19 second wave. The country is quite shaken up with the recent record numbers in the death toll across the states and the celebrities have come together to provide all the help they can. Priyanka Chopra Jonas had also requested the US government to share a certain amount of vaccines with the country since they ordered it in extra amounts.

Trying to lighten the grim atmosphere, Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to her Instagram story to share a fun boomerang with her Text For You costar Sam Heughan. As the actor celebrates his birthday today, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wished him with a boomerang video of the duo dancing around on the sets. Actor Varun Dhawan penned a note on Saturday and hopes that people remember what we all fought for amid the COVID-19 pandemic after power through this crisis.

Taking to Instagram, Varun Dhawan wrote, "If we all survive this, as I hope we shall, remember that when it came down to it, we didn't fight for land or weapons or house or jewellery. We didn't fight for concert tickets or fancy designations or religions or politics. We didn't fight for shares in a company or a seat at the table. India is facing the worse of the second wave of COVID-19. Amid the crisis, many international celebrities have taken up the initiative to help in whatever capacity they can and urged their fans to help India amid the COVID-19. Celebrities such as Katy Perry, Richard Madden, Shawn Mendes, Kunal Nayyar, Lilly Singh, Lana Condor, Ellen DeGeneres, Mindy Kaling, Jada Pinkett Smith, and others have asked to make donations, have donated themselves and are sending essential supplies to India.

Shawn Mendes took to social media to share a video urging fans to help India. In a video, he is heard saying, "If you've ever been touched by India's culture or India's people, just donate or share, or anything you can do to help."
