Amitabh Bachchan has shared an anecdote for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's book named 'The Stranger In The Mirror'. He revealed that his signature French beard look was given to him by Rakeysh during their movie Aks. Big B also said that he liked his French beard and has not changed his look since then.
The legendary actor credited the director for his signature beard. On it, Rakeysh said it was more than enough for a newbie director to just design a look for a legendary personality like Amitabh Bachchan on the big screen.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra also shared a funny conversation between him and Big B when he was given the film's script. He has also shared his experience of his other films like Rang De Basanti, Delhi-6, and Toofaan.
The Stranger In The Mirror is jointly written by bestselling author Reeta Ramamurthy Gupta and contains first-person accounts of Waheeda Rahman, AR Rahman, Manoj Bajpayee, Abhishek Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Ronnie Screwvala, Atul Kulkarni, R. Madhavan, Divya Dutta, and Prahlad Kakar.
