Following the release of Gehraiyaan, Ananya Panday has an even bigger project to look forward to. It is Liger starring Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda who is diving into his first pan-India project, which is releasing in five languages later this year. The film also marks the Indian film debut of former wrestler Mike Tyson. Ananya Panday calls him a 'teddy bear'.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, she said, "Mike Tyson was amazing. He was like this big teddy bear. What I loved about him was how humble he was. He would come in, he would be one of the first few people to reach the set and he was ready to do anything that Puri Jagannadh said. He didn't question it. He just went completely with Puri sir's vision. He's actually really funny. Some of his jokes are quite funny. So I would just sit next to him and I observed him it was like almost watching a lion in the wild."
Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy play prominent roles in Liger which is being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Liger is in the last leg of shooting and the makers will release it on August 25, 2022, worldwide.
