The film had been released only in the English version in the first week and yet, even the audiences of dubbed films ventured out due to the unbelievable hype.

Avatar turned out to be an outstanding film and broke many records at the box office. As a result, the hype is tremendous for Avatar: The Way Of Water. The film has been in the making for a long time. Recently, its stills were released and it added to the excitement. The trailer of the film has been attached with Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness and it won’t be wrong to say that many moviegoers heading to watch the Marvel film are pumped to see what blockbuster filmmaker James Cameron has come up with this time. This can be gauged by the fact that Avatar: The Way Of Water is already trending on Twitter non-stop worldwide, including in India

Bollywood Hungama got a sneak peek of the trailer before it’ll be launched on the internet and in cinemas on May 6. As expected, the promo left us stunned. It consists of glimpses of the various landscapes depicted in the film. Towards the latter half of the less-than-two-minute-long teaser, James Cameron also gives a hint of what the conflict in the story is. The teaser ends with a powerful dialogue mouthed by Jake (Sam Worthington), "Wherever we go, this family… is our fortress."

As the title suggests, Avatar: The Way Of Water’s teaser also shows certain underwater shots and it’ll surely be something to watch out for. In fact, the visuals are out of the world, literally and figuratively, and better than what it was in part 1. Moreover, the end dialogue makes it clear that family will play a paramount role here. It’s a classic formula and if treated well, then the sky is the limit.

Avatar was released on December 18, 2009, and collected a huge Rs. 57.04 crore. While it broke the record of 2012 (2009), in India it couldn’t, possibly as Aamir Khan-starrer 3 Idiots (2009) released a week after and took away screens, and also because it carried a terrific word of mouth.

Avatar: The Way Of Water Trailer: James Cameron’s EPIC saga has all the ingredients of a BLOCKBUSTER at the Indian box office!

Avatar: The Way Of Water releases in the same week as the prequel, on December 16, 2022. The hype is also huge now and by the time it will be up for release, the excitement would be sky-high. Moreover, the ticket prices would be astronomical, especially in the 3D and IMAX versions. Hence, it won’t be wrong to expect that it’ll take one of the biggest openings for a Hollywood film.

This time, Avatar: The Way Of Water has Ganapath – Part 1 for competition. The Tiger Shroff-starrer would be out on December 23 followed by Salman Khan-starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali on December 30. While both these films are huge, they won’t pose the same kind of competition as 3 Idiots posed for the predecessor. As a result, expect Avatar: The Way Of Water to have a very healthy run at the Indian box office, especially if the content clicks!
