RRR continues making headlines from the time of its release and for all the good reasons. The film has just won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’. Actress Alia Bhatt recently reacted to James Cameron admiring her film RRR, on Instagram. The actress shared the response on Instagram expressing how an American journalist has said that the Avatar director admires the movie.
On Monday, Alia Bhatt shared the response RRR’s official Twitter handle had given to a tweet by Anne Thompson, an American journalist. The tweet read, “James Cameron admires RRR… LOVE YOUU SIRRR @JimCameron… #RRRMovie.” Anne's tweet read: “RRR wins best foreign film at CCA — every bit of awareness helps get more folks to watch it! I introduced myself to S.S. Rajamouli and my tablemate Jim Cameron admires the movie too”. Reacting to this Alia took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Uffff what a beautiful morning”.
RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead and Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. Alia was in the role of Ram Charan's childhood friend and lover and played a pivotal role in the story. RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
On the work front, Alia is currently enjoying her maternity break at home with her baby Raha Kapoor and her furball Edward. Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. She is also reported to get back on set post her delivery with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. In her pipeline, she also has director Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. Apart from this, she will mark her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone.
