In 2017, Esha Gupta broke the internet with her risqué pictures. The actress pushed the envelope with her bold photoshoots that got everyone talking. Five years later, Esha Gupta is all set to grab the headline once again with her confident and sensuous avatar in the web series, Aashram 3. The trailer of the show was released on May 13 and it gave a slight glimpse of Esha seducing the lead, Bobby Deol. It looked quite steamy and has already made people curious to watch Aashram 3.

Now that Aashram 3 has released, we can vouch that this seductive sequence is one of the most interesting parts of the show. The scene appears in the fifth episode and is a part of the song 'Tore Ang Lag Jaau'. Esha Gupta, while seducing, does a yoga-inspired dance and it adds to the impact. What’s also praiseworthy is that director Prakash Jha has executed it very aesthetically and it doesn’t look cheap at all. Special mention should also go to the choreographer Jayesh Pradhan, and costume designer Priyanka Mundada as Esha Gupta looks quite appealing in the pink co-ord set, comprising a bralette with a ruffled skirt.

Aashram is the story of Baba Nirala Kashipur Waale (Bobby Deol), who pretends to be a godman but is actually a criminal. In the third season, he’s seen running the government of the state, though the chief minister is Hukum Singh (Sachin Shroff). Hukum Singh introduces the Baba to Sonia (Esha Gupta), a branding expert. Sonia, however, pretends to be a die-hard devotee of Baba. Baba gets impressed and calls her to his private chamber, and this is when this sequence comes into the picture.

Prakash Jha has directed all three seasons of Aashram. The first season was released on August 28, 2020. It was a huge success, prompting the streaming platform MX Player to advance the release of season 2. Aashram Chapter 2 – The Dark Side premiered on November 11, 2020, six months before its initial release date. Aashram 3, meanwhile, was out on June 3, 2022. Esha Gupta’s character gets introduced in Season 3. Interestingly, this is the second time that she worked with Prakash Jha. Their maiden venture together was the political action-packed film, Chakravyuh (2012).

Ishq Vishk Rebound: Hrithik Roshan’s lady love Saba Azad and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor Kartik Aaryan cheer for Pashmina Roshan

Yet another star kid on the block is all set to make her big debut and this one will be the sequel to one of the cult teen romance films Ishq Vishk. While the latter marked the Bollywood acting debut of Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, the second one, Ishq Vishk Rebound will mark the debut of Pashmina Roshan, daughter of Rajesh Roshan. Needless to say, the Roshan family is ecstatic and so are all the well-wishers and closed ones. Cheering for her was Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend Saba Azad. Also, following the suit was Kartik Aaryan.

Saba Azad, who recently made her first red carpet appearance with Hrithik Roshan at the Karan Johar birthday bash last week, took to Instagram to wish Pashmina Roshan. Congratulating her on her debut venture, Saba added, “Go pash go.. up up and away”. Moreover, she also commented on the post where Pashmina shared the motion poster of Ishq Vishk Rebound, adding, “Yay waaahooooo pasherooo ????????????????????????????????”

Also adding to the comments was Pashmina’s uncle and Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan. He said, “Congratulations to all, looking forward…”

On the other hand, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to share the motion poster and some kind words for friend Pashmina Roshan. He said, “All the best @pashminaroshan kill it my friend. @rameshtaurani sir, @rohitsaraf, @jibraan.khan, @nailaagrewal, @jayataurani, @nipundharmadhikari and the entire team. This looks fun.”

A day ago, the team of Ishq Vishk announced their next venture Ishq Vishk Rebound which will star Pashmina Roshan in the lead role along with Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Agrewal. Speaking about her debut, Pashmina had taken to Instagram to share the poster saying, “It feels like years of austerity and hard work is finally bearing fruits. I'm extremely excited, nervous and elated to bring to you my first experience on screen. When relationships can be found on apps, and lost over a chat, you know that love needs an upgrade. Manushi Chillar looks resplendent in stunning pink handcrafted saree for special screening of Samrat Prithviraj

These days, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar are everywhere because of Samrat Prithviraj, their next historical drama. In the film, Manushi Chhillar will make her major Bollywood debut alongside Akshay Kumar in the lead role. In recent weeks, Manushi has been quite busy with the film's promotion. Despite her hectic schedule, the actor managed to pull off breathtaking appearances in magnificent ensembles.

The actress, who is now promoting the film, is also slaying it in the world of ethnic wear. She's worn a variety of stunning ethereal clothing for the next film's promotional tasks, from pretty suits to magnificent sarees, and her most recent ethnic appearance is proof. Manushi and Akshay recently, with the Samrat Prithviraj team, had a special screening of the film. Amit Shah, India's Home Minister, was also present at the ceremony. Manushi wore a fuchsia pink saree from Madhurya, a heritage clothing label, for the occasion. The six yards were worn with a cream-colored half-sleeve silk blouse with a wide neckline by the actress. The saree is made of silk and has modest handcrafted embroidery. It has broad golden borders on the pallu, as well as gold patti borders with blue lining, delicate thread embroidery in the same colours, and gold patti borders with blue lining. The beauty queen draped the six yards around her waist in the traditional way, letting the pallu fall from her shoulder.

Manushi finished off her look with a few simple accessories and makeup. She wore gold-toned earrings, Kundan gold bangles, a sleek low hairdo with a centre part, subtle shimmery eye makeup, sleek eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, radiant skin, reddened cheeks, glossy bronze-hued lip colour, dainty bindi, and on-fleek brows.

Meanwhile, Samrat Prithviraj is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem on the 12th-century ruler Prithviraj Chauhan, and is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. It will release on June 3. It also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in addition to Akshay and Manushi.

Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon welcome their first child, a baby boy

South Korean actors Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon, who tied the knot in January 2022, have welcomed their first child. The couple had announced the pregnancy ahead of their marriage. The duo, who held their wedding at a church in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, have become parents to a baby boy.

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, a statement released by Park Shin Hye's agency SALT Entertainment reads, "We are sharing news that actress Park Shin Hye gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul today (May 31). Actress Park Shin Hye and her child are in good health, and she is resting with the blessings of her husband, actor Choi Tae Joon, and her acquaintances. We express deep gratitude to everyone who has sent congratulatory messages, and we ask that warm blessings and support be sent to actor Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon who have welcomed a valuable life."

On the work front, Choi Tae Joon was last featured in iQiyi web series The Man’s Voice. On the other hand, Park Shin Hye was last seen in 2021 Netflix/JTBC drama Sisyphus: The Myth .

EXCLUSIVE: “Hariharan asked me to come to Mumbai,” late singer KK speaks about his initial days in Mumbai music industry

On May 31, the nation was left shocked when legendary singer KK suddenly passed away. The singer was, in fact, on a concert tour in Kolkata and after his performance, complained of uneasiness. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but it was declared that he was ‘brought dead’. The news left everyone in shock including his close friends from the industry. Amongst them was also Hariharan, who even refused to believe that his friend is no more. In this throwback exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, KK spoke about his bond with singer Hariharan and how he played an important role in bringing him to the music industry.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, KK had said, “Hariharan had come to Delhi once and I was performing in one of the five-star rooftop restaurants in Delhi. And I was substituting for a friend since he was not well. I sang a couple of songs. And then he called me from there and he was sitting with his wife. I went to him and said, Oh, nice to meet you because it was indeed a pleasure to meet him. I love his voice. So I said, lovely meeting you. And then he asked me, ‘tu yahan kya kar raha hai?’ and I didn't understand what he said. He went on to say, ‘Get the hell out of here! Come to Bombay.’ He said, ‘starting warting ke liye sab teek hai baaki come to Bombay’”

KK went on to add, “I think who baat mere zehen mein reh gayi. This I am talking about 90s, right after college. 1991 I got married, so yeah, around that time. So I came back home and I told Jyoti, I met him. She said you and I've been telling you know, we should go for this.” He went on to say that even though three years had passed after that incident, he met Hariharan first after coming to Mumbai.

“My uncle was a friend of Hariharan’s. They had studied together in school. So we fixed our meeting. Thankfully, it only took me a few months when I was here for a bit. So after I met him, we started chatting. He said, Come home and I played those two songs. He heard them and immediately called Leslie on the phone and he said, ‘haan naya ladka hai aur uska naam KK hai’. And he played the recording of the two songs. Maybe a little bit not two songs. One song you know and then Leslie asked me to come home to meet him. I went to meet Leslie. So he was possibly recording a jingle and once he finished, he asked if I am free. I said yeah and he said, I'll take you to Bandra. We just went for a drive. I sat in his car and we went to his studio Populace which was under construction. Then we spoke a bit and he asked what do you like. I even started playing the guitar a little bit and then he said, I'll call you! We sat for a bit and we chatted for about an hour, an hour and a half. Then we got to know each other and I liked him a lot. And I think he liked me a lot too. Because after that soon enough, in a month or two, I think he called me. The day my son Nakul was born was actually the day I had a recording to do with Leslie which was my first jingle. So in a sense, the struggle period for me was I would say a couple of months when I came here to Bombay,” KK concluded.

Hariharan opens up on the demise of KK; says, “No words seem enough to express my grief and disbelief”

Hariharan cannot believe KK is gone. KK was not only a co-singer in one of both the singers’ most beloved songs he was also a friend. “KK was—it is so impossible to think of him in the past tense—was a soft-spoken gentle soul. All he wanted to do was sing. He had no interest in parties and networking. And he sang with such passion. He could negotiate the highest notes without stumbling. His ability to sing was god sent.”

Hariharan remembers every detail of the recording of ‘Chhor Aaye Hum Woh Galiyan’. “Vishal and Rekha Bhardwaj were there. Gulzar Saab was there. KK, Suresh Wadkar and I were at the mike. It was magical. That song became the signature tune for both KK and I.”

Not many know that KK and Hariharan sang another song together. “That’s right. It was again for Vishal Bhardwaj. But unlike ‘Chhor Aaye Hum’, this one was a comedy song for a film that never got released. KK and I had so much fun singing it. We both had very serious images. That song showed our fun side. I wish people heard it.”

And being a South Indian, KK like Hariharan sang without a trace of an accent. Laughs Hariharan, "That's true. Hearing us, no one could say which part of India we belonged to. KK listened to a lot of world music. He was a big fan of hard-rock music. To him, singing a Telugu song was no different from singing a Hindi or English song."

Hariharan is full of admiration for KK’s range. “He had the voice of the film hero. It was filled with youthful romance. KK’s dying is so unnecessary. I know his life could have been saved; 53 is no age to die. I know his wife and children. I don’t know what to say to them. No words seem enough to express my grief and disbelief.”
